Suga Shikao News: Suga Shikao has announced through his fanclub that the members of THE FAN-KEY-TRAIN will be picking one of the B-Sides that will accompany the new single that will be release 2010-04. The F-K-T members will comment on their favorite song and the most popular song will get choose as the B-Side. The song will be a Suga Shikao Self Cover and the members can choose any song that Suga Shikao has released in his entire career. The song will feature special guest, Mori Toshiyuki from THE FAMILY SUGAR on piano and will be released as a 'special piano version'.

I also updated the Live News section with information on FAN-KEY-TRAIN priority ticket reservation information for [SUGA SHIKAO TOUR 2010].

Happy 13th Year Anniversary Suga Shikao!
Today is the 13th year of Suga Shikao's debut as a major label artist! I wish him the best and hope that he continues to make wonderful music for all his fans from around the world! Today, Suga had updated with a lot of great news for his fans! After, a relaxing start to 2010, Suga has finally revealed plans for a few new releases and events!

First, this news is a little late, but Suga will be participating in this year's [Augusta Camp 2010]. Details can be viewed in the Live News section. Second, dates and venues for his first tour of 2010, entitled [SUGA SHIKAO TOUR 2010], have been announced. All information is available in the Live News section. Third, I posted in November of 2009 that Suga will be composing the theme song for the upcoming movie [Sweet Little Lies], which will be released this spring. The song, [雨あがりの朝に (Ame Agari no Asa ni)], will be released as Suga's first ever Digital single! There are two different release dates for the song: 2010-03-10 for three types of mobile phone versions, and 2010-03-17 for the full version of the song for PCs and mobile phones. Currently, there is no information if this digital single will be available to overseas fans. Fourth, Suga is also going to be releasing a brand new single that will be sold in stores! The single is currently untitled but it will come out on 2010-04. All details are available in the New Releases and Singles sections. Finally, Suga has also announced the release of a new album! The album will go on sale 2010-05. It is also untitled but it will contain his three latest singles for a total of 12 tracks.

Also, a little reminder for everyone, have you voted for Suga Shikao yet!? Show your support for Suga and vote for him in the McDonalds J-WAVE: TOKIO HOT 100 AWARD program! Suga Shikao is up for the nomination of 'Best Male Artist'. You can vote for him and the other nominees here. Winners will be announced February 28th.

Suga seems to have a very busy spring packed with some amazing releases and fun events for his fans! I cannot wait to hear his new songs and I will continue to keep everyone informed of future news!

Hello everyone! I'm sorry that I have not updated in a while. I was going through some personal problems, but I have come to the conclusion that I must move forward. Suga Shikao plays a large role in why I want to do what I want to do with my life and where I want to be (yeah, that sounds really weird but he's just a huge inspiration to me). I know that if I keep up with him and what he is doing and work hard to translate stuff and bring news to fans and follow him, it will help me out a lot.

During my absence Suga has updated with some news, although nothing really important.

First off, I was browsing the internet the other day and came across this really interesting article about Suga's performance in London on JaME. You can read about it here. Did you get to see Suga live in London? I'm sure if was a fun event!

Second, As part of the McDonalds J-WAVE: TOKIO HOT 100 AWARD program, Suga Shikao is up for the nomination of 'Best Male Artist'. You can vote for him and the other nominees here. Winners will be announced February 28th.

Suga Shikao News: Suga Shikao will be featured on Office Augusta's [Augusta Camp 2009~Extra~] Live DVD! The DVD will be released on 2010-03 and be two disks long. 2009 is the 11th year that Augusta Camp has been held, and and the concerts were done differently then in the past. They were spread out over four different venues on different days with different performers in different locations of Japan. More information can be found on the Augusta Camp Official Site.

Suga Shikao News: Suga Shikao's [FUNK FIRE '09] tour has come to an end, and there are some interesting details posted about the last show, which was held in Zepp Fukuoka on 2009-11-22:
Suga performed a new song entitled [サヨナラホームラン (Sayonara Home Run]! There is currently no news on whether the new song will be the one that will be released for the [Sweet Little Lies] movie. Also, because of the absence of MUMMY-D during the concert, Suga and his FUNK FIRE band have come up with a special rendition of [はじまりの日 (Hajimari no Hi] entitled [はじまりの日 (Hajimari no Hi) (FUNK FIRE バージョン) (FUNK FIRE Version)]. Lastly, Suga performed a cover of the song [炎 (ファイヤー)] originally by popular Japanese band FLYING KIDS. There is currently no information on whether the new songs will be released on a CD. Source

Suga Shikao News: Office Augusta has opened a new mobile phone site called [Kisekae Site]. On this special site you can download applications to change the look of your mobile phone. Some of the changes apply to the menu screen, battery icon, and sending and receiving screens. You can also download special artist photos as well as photos from lives. Suga Shikao is featured on this site and you can download an application based off of [Party People].
*NOTE: This is for Japanese residents only! This site will only work with Japanese mobile phones!

Suga Shikao News: Suga Shikao will provide the theme song to the upcoming movie [Sweet Little Lies]. The movie is scheduled for release in the spring of 2010. The movie is based off the novel by Ekuni Kaori and will star Nakatani Miki and Omori Nao. The title of the song is [雨あがりの朝に (Ame Agari no Asa ni)]. There is currently no plans for CD distribution. The Official Site for the new Office Augusta omnibus album, [冬ノうた (Fuyu no Uta)], has opened. The site features information on the album as well as a track list and samples of each song. Also, a preview video of the DVD has been updated to Office Augusta's Official YouTube Channel.

Finally, I have updated the Media section with some upcoming Radio broadcasts, which includes a special live broadcast at Tower Records in Shibuya that fans can participate in, and a Publication appearance.
