This Site

Suga-Shikao.net is a fansite created for fans by a fan! The main goal of this site it to help promote Suga Shikao and his works to all his fans throughout the world. It is also my goal to be the number one English site on the internet for information on Suga Shikao and all projects he is involved in.

History

Suga-Shikao.net was created on July 07, 2003. The site was originally located on my old domain Macabrecage.net, which is now inactive. My reasons for opening this site was that when I originally heard Suga Shikao's music there were no English language sites about him on the internet, so I decided to make one to help me learn more about him and to tell others about him and his wonderful music. I moved the site to it's current domain on September 12, 2005. Moving to a new domain allowed me to do much more with this site and it has been expanded and worked on a lot more than in the past. A fanlisting, entitled SugaHOLiC, was added to the site on October 28, 2005 to help unite Suga fans from around the world. There is still so much I want to add and do to this site and it will continue to grow everyday!

Name

The name of this fansite, Sugar, was choosen for two reasons: The first reason is because the word Sugar has Suga's name in it if you take out the 'r'. The second reason is the name of Suga's band is THE FAMILY SUGAR and I really liked that name so I simply dropped the beginning of the title and kept 'SUGAR'. I wanted to have a name for this site that represented Suga through his name as well as his music. I feel the title of Sugar does a good job of doing both and is also easy for fans to remember.
