Biography

kokua （コクア） was formed in 2006 to compose the theme song for the NHK drama [Professional Shigoto no Ryuugi]. The band took their name from a Hawaiian word meaning 'collaboration, cooperation'. The members are Suga Shikao, Takebe Satoshi, Ogura Hirokazu, Negishi Takamune, and Gota Yashiki. They released their first single, [Progress], on 2006-08-02.
